      We view fitness like a martial art: there is a path from novice to master, and although each individual may have a wholly different goal, perspective or skill capacity, they must develop a solid foundation in basic movements before moving on to more complex and demanding activities. The basics remain crucial throughout the journey, though beginners may not possess the skill sets or abilities of a student who has been training in for many years. Fitness is a lifelong journey, not a short trip to an immediate goal. We become fit not just for the aesthetic benefits, but for the positive influences it has on our overall lives, as well as specific goals.

     Exercises /movements are not just random tools to be pulled from the grab bag of fitness training โ€“ there is an intended progression from stage to stage, movement to movement. There is no logical reason to have a de-conditioned or new student to use a heavy load with a complex multi-joint exercise (such as an Olympic lift) before they possess the basic structural stability to maintain basic postural holds (such as the plank position).

   Our aim is to create well-rounded, safe and healthy athletes; to inspire joy, fulfillment and success through movement by using time-test tools and methods and empower our community through our passion for physical culture.

Life is about going places. Your body is your vehicle, your transportation device, your ability to engage with the world and connect with the people in it. What kind of car do you want to drive? Where do you want to go? In a world of fleeting time and opportunity, do you want to be sidelined by malfunction and malady, OR do you want a MUSCLE CAR for a body, a goddamn ROCKET SHIP! - with the power to blast you from moment to moment - imbued with the freedom to experience life with confidence.

By taking control of your fitness you harness what it means to be human. Humans are not meant to be cooped up in cubicles or tethered to computer screens. We are meant for grand exploration and physical expression. For too long youโ€™ve believed you were weak and powerless; but it is the mind not the body that breaks first. Reclaim your fitness, and in doing so you will reclaim the ferocity of your mind. If you believe something is impossible it for damn sure is. Youโ€™ve already lost. Learn to believe, and you will find you are capable of amazing things. You are capable of the impossible.
